Original [Inexpensive, Heat-resistant up to 180°C, Reusable Masking Rubber]

Stress relief and efficiency improvement in masking work! The fact that the paint adhered to the masking rubber is difficult to peel off easily is also well received.

Conventional masking rubber could not meet the heat resistance temperature requirements with general-purpose grades when considering the heat resistance temperature during painting. As a result, it was necessary to use expensive grades of rubber such as "fluoro rubber" or "silicone rubber," which tended to increase costs. Therefore, our company has developed a masking-specific grade rubber (CM-4618) that can be used at temperatures above 180° while keeping costs low. This has made it possible to reduce costs compared to fluoro and silicone rubber. Additionally, we have significantly reduced the scattering of paint that adheres to the rubber during painting, allowing the same masking rubber to be used continuously more than five times instead of being disposable.

"Suppresses scattering and cuts costs" - Paint-specific masking rubber 'MGK'

A case proposed to improve defects within the process caused by paint splatter during spray painting.

We would like to introduce a case study regarding rubber product development at our company. In the painting process, we were using silicone masking rubber, but we were troubled by a high number of defects in the process due to paint splatter during spraying, and we received a consultation about this issue. We proposed our painting-specific masking rubber "MGK," which can suppress splatter during painting and also reduce costs. Our company is equipped to handle various rubber processing technologies, including rare molding methods in Japan, allowing us to provide suggestions tailored to your ideas and budget. 【Case Overview】 ■ Consultation Details: Using silicone masking rubber in the painting process, but troubled by a high number of defects due to paint splatter. ■ Proposed Product: Painting-specific masking rubber "MGK" ■ Product Overview: Suppresses splatter during painting and reduces costs. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
